I believe that this is also very helpful to understand how I work and how is the experience to have me as your photographer. And to be honest, who doesn’t like to receive love letters??? We weren’t quite sure what kind of wedding we wanted—until we stumbled upon Peggy’s blog filled with dreamy Italian elopement ideas. It was the inspiration we needed to take the leap, and we ended up eloping in beautiful Lake Como at Passalacqua hotel! From the very beginning, Peggy was amazing to communicate with. She provided helpful hotel recommendations, gave honest feedback on vendors (even letting us know when something was overpriced), and helped coordinate the timeline for our big day. She truly went above and beyond, and her expertise made us feel completely at ease. On the day of our wedding, Peggy was calm, professional, and clearly knew exactly what she was doing. Conducting our ceremonial elopement abroad in a place we’d never been felt like a daunting task, but Peggy made everything easy for us. Communication was simple, and her recommendations were perfect. She arranged for everything and guided us through it all on the day of, giving us enough direction without ever feeling overbearing. Her positivity and excitement really radiated to us and immediately relieved us of any nerves we might have had heading into the day. There was something very special in her excitement for us, and in spite of having never met her before, we felt such a genuine quality from her that it freed us to be our genuine selves, which her photographs captured perfectly. She sent detailed information around her available packages, was always quick to respond and answer any questions we had and was so helpful on our wedding day, going above and beyond. She was super organised and knew the venue inside out and how the day would run – she was basically a second wedding coordinator! Rounding up a large group of rowdy Scots for photos isn’t easy but Peggy was a true pro and handled this no problem!
The photos are breathtaking. We sobbed looking through them, they are perfection. Peggy really captured the love and happiness we felt that day. She made us comfortable and put our nerves at ease. It’s a bit odd posing in front of a camera when you aren’t used to it but Peggy helped us with how to stand/sit, hand placement, etc and her guidance was much appreciated. I came across her work while researching vendors for our intimate destination wedding in Positano and was blown away with her work.
