I can’t tell you how much the reviews from my clients are important for me. When I receive one on my Facebook page, on google or WeddingWire, I’m so excited to read what my couples have to say about me. I believe that this is also very helpful to understand how I work and how is the experience to have me as your photographer. And to be honest, who doesn’t like to receive love letters??? Peggy was the most wonderful Elopement Photographer!
My husband and I flew to Lake Como to take wedding photos. Not only did Peggy give me amazing recommendations for other vendors, like floral, she also helped me find a great location to take our photos. Peggy was timely and SO professional. We had an amazing time with her. She is warm and so much fun. We were instantly comfortable with her, and she did a magical job, keeping us laughing and catching some beautiful moments on camera. Our photo album is beyond anything we could have imagined. Every photo in our album is just stunning, and she captured our joy on camera. She was truly exquisite to work with – we cannot recommend her enough!!!

Conducting our ceremonial elopement abroad in a place we’d never been felt like a daunting task, but Peggy made everything easy for us. Communication was simple, and her recommendations were perfect. She arranged for everything and guided us through it all on the day of, giving us enough direction without ever feeling overbearing. Her positivity and excitement really radiated to us and immediately relieved us of any nerves we might have had heading into the day. There was something very special in her excitement for us, and in spite of having never met her before, we felt such a genuine quality from her that it freed us to be our genuine selves, which her photographs captured perfectly. Her eye for light is incredible, and watching her work, we were both struck by how big of a difference there is between someone who simply takes pictures and a true artist of photography. Peggy is very much the latter. Honestly can’t say enough good things about our experience with Peggy. The only problem we have is that it’s really hard to choose favorites between the photos she took because they are all so amazing. We would unequivocally recommend Peggy to anyone.

Peggy was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. From the first initial email interaction she was a joy! She sent detailed information around her available packages, was always quick to respond and answer any questions we had and was so helpful on our wedding day, going above and beyond. She was super organised and knew the venue inside out and how the day would run – she was basically a second wedding coordinator! Rounding up a large group of rowdy Scots for photos isn’t easy but Peggy was a true pro and handled this no problem!
The photos are breathtaking. We sobbed looking through them, they are perfection. Peggy really captured the love and happiness we felt that day. She made us comfortable and put our nerves at ease. It’s a bit odd posing in front of a camera when you aren’t used to it but Peggy helped us with how to stand/sit, hand placement, etc and her guidance was much appreciated. We cannot thank Peggy enough – if you are booking a wedding in Italy you MUST book Peggy as your photographer!

Peggy is your girl. End of story. Make your life and your planning so much simpler and just have Peggy. I planned an Italy elopement in Florence from the US and Peggy was by far the MVP. She was extremely punctual in getting back to me, invaluable in the planning process and absolutely wonderful to work with through every part of the process. I gave Peggy zero direction or requests, and she delivered an absolutely stunning photo package from our day. She captured all the obvious important moments but so many perfect candid and creative shots that are so so special to us. She was extremely thoughtful and patient while working with us the day off. She was down to business and made sure to keep us on track. But also allowed for the day to flow as we wanted. I have looked at all our photos 100 times and can’t wait to look 100 more times. These photos bring us back to our perfect day and makes us want to plan another event in Italy in the future just so we can enjoy Peggy’s talent again. We are so grateful!

One word – AMAZING! We had Peggy photographer our wedding at Casale Doria & also our ceremony in San Silvestro and she captured every single moment of the day so perfectly without us even realizing!! Peggy at Maison Pestea is the right choice for your wedding in the Amalfi Coast. I came across her work while researching vendors for our intimate destination wedding in Positano and was blown away with her work. She was the first vendor we secured (before we even had a venue!), and it was the perfect choice. With a destination wedding, we knew that our guest list would be much smaller than it would have been had we married in the United States, so it was essential for us to choose a photographer that could capture the day so we could share it with everyone who couldn’t celebrate with us in person.
